Linda R. Melvern

Linda Melvern is an investigative journalist. She has worked on many UK newspapers such as The London Evening News, The Evening Standard, and The Sunday Times. She has written for The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Telegraph, The Irish Times, The Scotsman and the London Review of Books. She is the author of six books of nonfiction.

She was a consultant to the Military One prosecution team at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR),and part of her archive of documents on the planning and preparation of the genocide form a substantial part of the documentary evidence used by the prosecution at the ICTR.

Much of her work over the past decade and a half has focused on the circumstances of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
