Scott Straus

Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin, Madison

Prior to starting in academia, Straus was a freelance journalist based in Nairobi, Kenya. In 1996, he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the war in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
